Over the hills, plants have grown

Ivies and vines, and some unknown

Lavishly they grow, all by their own

And hold the fresh dew of dawn

I've been here since two years ago

I love to glance through the window

Slowly, slowly, seasons are changing

Still the plants lavishly grow.

Winter leaves fade and fall

In spring they flourish once more

Summer buds appear on the trunks below

The stalk stood while the autumn wind blows

As the New Year comes the wind turns bitter

Yet one day I turned and saw

Yellow blossoms bloomed like suns that glow

New hope is coming after all
